Description
Angular Contact Bearingsare designed to carry heavier radial and thrust loads, but because of the open side of the outer race, thrust loads can only be taken in one direction. For this reason, angular contact bearings are usually used in pairs. If angular contacts are mounted next to each other, they must be flush ground to prevent over-preloading them when the assembly is clamped up. When this is required, the "G" suffix is used as follows: BAC-7088-G
